Front view of a hip bone and head of leg bone with neck fractureThe simple definition of a fracture is a partial or complete break in the bone. Fractures and breaks are the same thing!! Waterproof Plaster

Yes, you can take a bath with this plaster and make it wet and it won’t get spoiled. Sounds impossible. But it is true. The new water resistant padding under the fiber cast has made it possible. Earlier when plaster was applied for fractures, one had to protect it from water and could not take a proper bath for weeks or months. Water resistant plaster is a revolutionary concept as the water gets expelled from under the plaster, thereby keeping it dry.

    Intra-Articular Injections

Intra-Articular InjectionsThis involves injecting a medicine inside the joint (mostly Knee Joint) to control pain and inflammation in severely arthritic joints. Commonly used medicines are Hyaluronic acid or steroids. This procedure is used in advanced arthritis of knee joints to relieve pain and swelling when Joint replacement cannot be done or patient does not want to get surgery done. This is a simple, low cost procedure and can be done in OPD setting.
